Swipe Controls

Swipe Controls

If you are familiar with PocketTouch, it’s basically a replacement I made for me, because I really used it a lot.

If you are not familiar, it’s just an app that changes music based on finger swipes, so if you swipe up/down, it will change the volume, if you swipe left/right, it will skip to the next or previous song, and a tap will play/pause.

It also comes with some options to make it more comfortable.

How to use:

The use is very simple.

  • Swipe Left: Previous song
  • Swipe Right: Next Song
  • Swipe Up/Down: Adjust Volume

When you press the Info button, on the bottom right, the app shows the settings:

  • Volume Sensitivity: The higher the value, the more the volume will change when you slide your finger.
  • Side Gestures Sensitivity: If the side swipe isn’t longer than the value from this slider, it won’t change the song.
  • Gestures: Enable/disable some the volume and next/prev gestures.
  • Play/Pause: Single Tap will enable/disable the Play/Pause functions. If double tap is enabled, it will require a double tap to Play/Pause.
  • Invert Gestures: This will invert some gestures, I think it’s quite obvious what it does.

There seems to be some sort of problem when using left/right swipe to change songs were it get’s stuck in ‘no song’ ….?

    suggestions :
    screen dim
    fast forward / rewind
